The board is a unique group of motivated third-year business students and master students who all have a passion for social impact. They embody the spirit of the I DO Project — a programme for students, run by students.

Prof. Lucas Meijs
Prof. Lucas Meijs is professor of Strategic Philanthropy and Volunteering at RSM and has advised the Student Board since the beginning of the I DO Project. He now supports Taslim Alade in actively running the I DO Project in co-creation with the student board.
Dr. Taslim Alade
Dr Taslim Alade is a lecturer in the department of Business-Society Management at RSM and the coordinator of the I DO Project. He also teaches, coordinates the Professional Development course, and is a thesis coach to RSM master students. Taslim is very passionate about lecturing because it aligns with his personal value of positively impacting society via the students that he teaches and coaches.

Positions & Responsibilities
Board Positions
Below are the descriptions of the different board positions you can apply for in 2026/2027:

Reports to: President
Purpose: Ensures the quality of the consulting service provided by I DO’s student consultant teams. Maintains relationships with NGOs and facilitates the outreach process to new NGOs. Also takes care of financial and external partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Oversee financials
Main contact person for external partners (e.g. companies, foundations, NGOs)
Manage the process of reaching out and attaining new NGOs as clients for future cohorts
Coordinate the Consulting Project Managers (CPMs)
Assess the quality of consulting output by aligning with CPMs and reviewing selected outputs
Align regularly with NGOs on satisfaction levels regarding the input provided by I DO’s students
Develop and continuously improve preventative measures to avoid client dissatisfaction
Check in with former NGOs and maintain relationships
Ideal profile: Strategic, relationship-oriented, and proactive — excels in both internal coordination and external representation.
Time Commitment: 8-12 hours per week

Reports to: President
Purpose: Sets and translates the long-term academic vision into concepts and execution. Oversees the actual execution of the academic course operations.
Responsibilities:
Organize and hold regular meetings with the academic team
Engage in long term brainstorming on how to continue developing the I DO course
Help plan lecture content for the daily course execution
Coordinating guest lecturers (sourcing, confirming, following up, replacing last-minute cancellations)
Co-host lectures with the Head of Academic Development
Oversee the grading process of assignments and manage/ resolve potential implications
Help in the grading and development of assignments
Be a point of contact for students
Ideal profile: Collaborative, structured, and academically strong; enjoys working with peers to create an engaging and cohesive learning experience.
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week (excl. grading)

Reports to: Head of Academics
Purpose: Co-lecturer of the I DO course, ensures delivery of knowledge in alignment with the I DO course manual.
Responsibilities:Prepare lecture content based on the I DO course manual and in accordance with I DO’s learning goals
Teach the academic content in the I DO lectures with the Head of Academics
Interact with students by collecting feedback and being present
Consult students on assignments
Support grading of student’s assignments
Engage in mid-term planning of course content (in cooperation with other academic board members)
Manage Student Emails incoming to IDO shared inbox and conducting attendance
Coordinating guest lecturers (sourcing, confirming, following up, replacing last-minute cancellations)
Ideal Profile: Engaging communicator and facilitator who thrives on enhancing student learning and teamwork quality.
Time commitment: 8-12 hours per week (excl. grading)

Reports to: Vice President
Purpose: Reinforce the I DO Foundation brand by clearly communicating its visual identity, mission, vision, and activities to the public. Maximise exposure and visibility across both online and in-person channels, while effectively managing visual assets and content across all relevant platforms.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Marketing Managers to create visual and written content for social media, events, and campaigns.
Plan and design content across social media channels
Keeping website up-to-date (e.g. changes in NGO partners)
Maintain a content calendar with all marketing-related planned outputs
Create/ further develop the I DO brand strategy (where and how is I DO presented)
Leading the external communication regarding recruitment (board and cohort)
Distribute work and manage marketing managers
Develop & support facilitation I DO community-building
Ideal profile: Creative, dependable, and detail-focused with strong aesthetic and storytelling skills.
Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week

Reports to: President
Purpose: Development and maintenance of the I DO community. Management of I DO’s HR practices.
Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the whole recruitment process of both the board and students
Constant monitoring of student engagement and development
Organise I DO events for students
Regularly collect feedback from I DO students through survey collection together with the Academic team
Ensure harmony between the board and the students and act as a mediator
Set up board meetings and set up board socials
Expansion and maintenance of the I DO alumni network (LinkedIn/ WhatsApp)
Ideal Profile: Empathetic, organised, and approachable — excels in interpersonal communication and community building.
Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week
Committee Positions

Reports to: Head of Academics
Purpose
Supports the academic team in delivering high-quality lecture content, grading assignments, and conducting research to continuously improve the I DO course.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in preparing lecture content and materials in line with the I DO course manual
Support the grading of student assignments and provide constructive feedback
Conduct research on relevant topics to enrich academic content
Help co-host or facilitate lecture sessions alongside the Head of Academic Development
Collect and consolidate student feedback on academic content and delivery
Contribute to the development and refinement of course materials and assignments
Support the standardisation of lecture content for future cohorts
Time Commitment
6-8 hours per week. May increase around grading periods and lecture preparation phases. Can be done online

Reports to: Head of Marketing
Purpose
Supports the marketing team in increasing I DO's visibility on social media and campus through content creation, design, and community engagement.
Main Responsibilities
Create and design content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
Assist in maintaining and updating the I DO website
Contribute to the content calendar by proposing and scheduling marketing outputs
Support the execution of the I DO brand strategy across channels
Assist in external communications related to board and cohort recruitment
Help maintain and grow the I DO alumni network (LinkedIn/WhatsApp)
Support I DO community-building activities and event promotion
Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week. Can be done remotely

Reports to: Vice President
Purpose of Role
Manages and guides student consulting teams in their work with NGO clients, ensuring quality delivery and a productive relationship between students and NGOs.
Main Responsibilities
Manage 3-4 student consulting teams of approximately 5 students each
Act as the primary point of contact between assigned student teams and their respective NGOs
Guide students through the consulting process, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
Monitor student engagement and flag potential issues to the Head of Consulting Operations
Support the outreach process to identify and engage new NGOs as potential clients for future cohorts
Escalate conflicts or misalignments between students and NGOs to the Head of Consulting Operations
Time Commitment
4-6 hours per week. Highly dependent on the state of NGO-student relationships and project phases. Can be done remotely

Purpose of Role
Contributes to the continuous improvement and growth of I DO by expanding the core product and working on strategic initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and refinement of I DO's mid-term and long-term strategy
Support the planning and execution of I DO Volunteering initiatives for I DO members
Align NGOs and students on I DO Volunteering initiatives and provide support (onboarding, check-ins, resolving issues and offboarding)
Identify areas for improvement within I DO's operations and propose actionable solutions
Gather and analyse data or benchmarks to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with other board members and committees to ensure strategic alignment and regular feedback collection
Present findings and recommendations to the Vice President and broader board
Time Commitment: 4+ hours per week. No fixed cap; hours scale with the scope of strategic projects undertaken. Can be done remotely
