Prof. Lucas Meijs
Prof. Lucas Meijs is professor of Strategic Philanthropy and Volunteering at RSM and has advised the Student Board since the beginning of the I DO Project. He now supports Taslim Alade in actively running the I DO Project in co-creation with the student board.
Dr. Taslim Alade
Dr Taslim Alade is a lecturer in the department of Business-Society Management at RSM and the coordinator of the I DO Project. He also teaches, coordinates the Professional Development course, and is a thesis coach to RSM master students. Taslim is very passionate about lecturing because it aligns with his personal value of positively impacting society via the students that he teaches and coaches.

Board Positions
Below are the descriptions of the different board positions you can apply for:

Purpose: Lead I DO strategically and operationally, ensuring coherence, accountability, and impact across all departments.
Responsibilities:
Define and safeguard I DO’s mission, strategic priorities, and annual goals.
Lead board meetings, ensuring alignment and timely decision-making.
Represent I DO to RSM faculty, external partners, and key stakeholders.
Supervise and support all Heads and the Vice-President through regular check-ins.
Keep the advisory board informed and updated via bi-weekly meetings.
Align cross-department initiatives between Academics, Operations, Marketing, and People.
Ensure operational continuity, financial responsibility, and adherence to I DO’s vision of positive change.
Ideal profile: Visionary, diplomatic, and structured leader able to connect academic, operational, and strategic dimensions.

Purpose: Support the President in executing I DO’s strategy and lead non-NGO partnerships and business development.
Responsibilities:
Co-create and monitor I DO’s annual plan with the President.
Supervise Business Development Managers and oversee partnerships not related to NGOs or guest lectures (e.g. corporates, sponsors, RSM collaborations).
Substitute for the President when required and ensure ongoing progress on strategic initiatives.
Ideal profile: Strategic, relationship-oriented, and proactive — excels in both internal coordination and external representation.

Purpose: Oversee all NGO-related partnerships and ensure smooth execution of the consulting projects.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the main contact point for NGOs and manage their onboarding and matching process.
Supervise Consulting Project Managers and ensure consistent project quality and partner satisfaction.
Track project progress, gather feedback, and report results to the board and faculty.
Maintain and expand long-term NGO partnerships.
Coordinate closely with the Head of Academics to align NGO projects with course learning goals, and with the Vice-President for strategic partnership insights.
Ideal profile: Empathetic and results-oriented, strong in stakeholder management and operational coordination.

Purpose: Lead and coordinate the Academic Team to ensure that I DO’s educational component maintains high academic quality, engagement, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Head of Academic Development and Head of Course Development as part of a unified Academic Team.
Co-teach workshops and lectures, ensuring consistency in delivery and learning outcomes.Liaise with RSM faculty to align I DO’s academic content and grading standards with the university’s requirements.
Oversee grading calibration and ensure fairness, clarity, and academic integrity.Support the integration of consulting practice with academic learning.
Ideal profile: Collaborative, structured, and academically strong; enjoys working with peers to create an engaging and cohesive learning experience.

Purpose: Deliver and manage the weekly academic experience for I DO students.
Responsibilities:Facilitate and lead workshops and lectures.
Co-design and co-teach weekly workshops and lectures with the other Academic Heads.
Mentor student teams and support their learning progress.
Assist in grading and providing formative feedback.
Ensure strong communication between academic staff, students, and the board.
Ideal Profile: Engaging communicator and facilitator who thrives on enhancing student learning and teamwork quality.

Purpose: Design, document, and improve I DO’s course content and structure for long-term scalability.
Responsibilities:
Co-create and update the course manual, assignment templates, and grading rubrics with input from the other Academic Heads.
Develop new academic materials and coordinate with faculty on updates.
Ensure that course documentation and assignments reflect I DO’s mission.
Participate in lectures and workshops to ensure content reflects classroom realities.
Ensure academic materials are cohesive, accessible, and aligned with learning objectives.
Collaborate with Academic Development to ensure materials match teaching needs.
Ideal profile: Organised, creative, and detail-oriented; passionate about educational design and continuous improvement.

Purpose: Communicate I DO’s story, mission, and impact through creative and consistent branding.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the annual marketing and communications plan.
Supervise Marketing Managers to create visual and written content for social media, events, and campaigns.
Maintain the I DO website and visual identity.
Capture I DO events, projects, and achievements through photography, video, and storytelling.
Ideal profile: Creative, dependable, and detail-focused with strong aesthetic and storytelling skills.

Purpose: Foster community, personal development, and wellbeing across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Lead student and board recruitment processes.
Conduct PLP (Personal Learning Plan) sessions and manage feedback cycles.
Organise social and professional development events.Manage and organize feedback sessions within the board

Promote a healthy, collaborative culture across board and student teams.
